PERFORMANCE IS A HIGHLIGHT OF A “SUMMER OF SUDDEN” THAT INCLUDES PERFORMANCES IN BECKET (MA), HOUSTON (TX), MORGANTOWN (WV) AND CLEVELAND
Cleveland, Ohio (June 28, 2017) – Inlet Dance Theatre will perform at historic Jacob’s Pillow, located in Becket, MA, on August 4 as part of Jacob’s Pillow’s 85th Anniversary Season.
Founded in 1933, Jacob’s Pillow serves as a showcase festival for dance companies throughout the world to promote their art. Inlet will perform as part of the festival’s Inside/Out series, which offers free outdoor performances by emerging and established dance companies and dancers. Inlet is the first company from Cleveland to be invited to participate in the festival’s 85 year history.
Participation in “The Pillow” is one highlight of a series of performances which Inlet Dance Theatre will be doing throughout the summer. Other performances of Cleveland- based art include, Houston for Ad Deum’s Summer Intensive, and Morgantown (WV) for Men in Dance: Bridging the Gap. In addition, Inlet will also continue offering their free performances at Cain Park as part of the company’s annual Summer Dance Intensive for rising dancers, and at Tremont’s Arts in August series.
